I recognised the picture in his signature and realised who this was, sorry to hear and condolences.
I've read quite a few of his posts over the years that always had quite valuable information and contributions.

Sad news. . He had a great sense of humor and always initiated the new members by breaking their ***** a bit, as it should be. I missed his presence here once he moved onto the 997.

Here's an example of Tim's wonderful sense of humor -- like my Boxster, the 996 4S NEVER saw rain or snow. If Wellardmac is there - I think you posted a pic of that car with a snowplow on it so I could keep the driveway as clean as the car!

I remember Tim used to give you grief about little you drove the 996. Good times!

Tim and Wayne (wellardmac) were relentless! Now that Tim is gone, Wayne still gives me grief about NOT driving my 981S enough. It's almost 2 years old and has 680 miles on it. If that's not driving it, I don't know what is.

As for the snowplow - no, I don't have that photo anymore... I think Tim did that Photoshop creation.

Sorry I didn't see this post sooner Phil - way too much end of year travel. You only have 680 miles on the Boxster? Really? You promised us that you were going to drive it - shame on you!

Yeah, that car probably has 100K miles on it now and has been driven through all kinds of weather.
