Looking at some minor cosmetic upgrades for my 2001 996 coupe (lapis blue). Anyone have stone guards and/or door decals? If so, thoughts on looks? Did you buy from Suncoast Porsche or elsewhere?

Unless I'm missing something www.kistudios.com has nothing for a 996?

Just put some KI Studios graphics on the Cayman. Came out great!

 

??? From that middle pic, your custom graphics look a lot like blue painter's tape. Have you been shopping with Hurdi at Home Depot again?

 

Yep, also picked up some chicken wire, cheapo LED lights, and am getting a "GII" tat!

 

I like the NASCAR sidewall tire graphic best on the 996!

 

Those HRE wheels are growing on me Cuda. I know this is a vital piece of information for your driving experience, so I thought I'd share.

 

You can always go for Magnagrafik. They have both vinyl decal and magnetically applied graphics. Lots of options from modern to traditional to racing. I ordered some magnetic stone guards (page 22 of their catalog). Good quality. Be aware they don't communicate well (or at all). Never got an order confirmation or shipping time estimates. Two months later they show up in the mail. Heard the same thing in other forums. They ship when they ship. Regardless, everyone seems happy with the product.
