I got mine from Design911 in the UK - very happy with the look, fit and sound.

Thanks! What brand? Did you install them yourself?

I dig the FVD 200 Cell X-Pipe.

Here's a clip I did a while back paired with my Fisters.

Thank you! I am leaning towards the FVDs currently. Seem reasonably priced.

Goes without saying, but keep an eye on the Rennlist classifieds. That's where I got my Fabspeed mufflers (and sold an extra set of Fabspeed tips).

Speedtech seems to be reasonably priced. I've no direct experience, but will eventually get 200 cell cats and they are at the top of my list at the moment

I know they are pricey, but the Fabspeed 200 cell sport cats are worth the price, IMO. You already know how they sound when paired with the PSE, plus they work well with the O2 sensors and don't trigger any codes. BTW, when you get in there to install the cats, disconnect the electronic controls to the PSE, and then wire or solder the muffler flaps so that the PSE stays open all the time. This gives a great burble even at idle.

thanks all! All this hype about 993s have got me a little confused. Ive listened to a ton of videos of modded 993s and 996s and in terms of animalistic exhaust noises the 993 does not trump the 996. I understand there are other driving dynamics im sure the 993 is better at but i still think ita crazy the artificial prices of those older cars.

Of course im probably biased but i dont think a 996 with pse and nice cats takes a back seat to any 911 in any generation. Just my 50 cents....

Btw are the cats a simple enough diy job??

Don't let the 993 hype fool you. The 993 is the last of the air cooled Porsches, that's all. The 993 is nostalgia, but the 996 is the better car. Look at all the performance stats.

You'll skin some knuckles getting the O2 sensors in right, but otherwise, the cats are an easy DIY.

yes i agree with you fully from everything ive seem, heard, and tried. The 993 is not a better car. Might have better build quality but in terms of performance and sound it doesnt beat the 996 that is nicely modded.

thanks i will be going the 200 cell route!
