OG,

good eyeball on the door sills. I disagree on the "new car" smell. My 58000 mile car still has a fresh, leather scent. Smells like a new car to me!

on it for around 70K too high but that is their starting point.

Hi OG

I know this car its for sale near me at www.stamfordvolvo.com. Been to see it, nice car on the outside but plain inside(no sport seats, no aluminum guages etc!) but overpriced , I think it has 28k miles, so It will need its major 30k service soon, you can bet the dealer will not pay for this. This car has been sitting there a long time. I think a good price for this car would be 65k but good luck getting a dealer to come down to that.

Paul

No not yet, I saw a Ferrari 355 the other day and ohhh that sound and style. You can get a 97/98 355 for a little bit more than a 993 TT. So I am a little bit torn now. I know its heresy but I am considering the ferrari also.

Brian, there are a few people on this board who have owned both TT's and Ferrari's.. You may want to do some searches on this board, and also check out this page: http://p-car.com/reviews/

The styling of the ferrari and the sound are incredible.

Here is what looks to be a really nice DE ready 993TT - seems like a pretty solid deal to me given all the add ons -

Im currently the seller of the ebay car mentioned on this thread and just posted an updated photo of the door sills. The pics on the web were made prior to me upgrading the sills.

The only reason Im selling this is due to a new Home Im building. The toys need to go.

Jeff,

My neighbour has a 355 ferrari.
It sounds terrible in my opinion. Almost like a 3.5 cc model car
Porsches in general sound great.
I have not heard a TT at full howl but both my Porsches have a great sound. Comparing to a 355, no contest. Porsches sound better

Cool seriously reconsider the TT "s".... it's....

it's to die for. i may wait on my next year "993-tt" purchase for something like this:
(not too wild about the ride height or color but..... p-l-e-a-s-e-!)

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=10156

hey guys... anyone know the # of 993 tt-s' brought into the states? & is $100k about right for a near perfect one?

also, what exactly (other the what one can see) is the difference between a "tt" & a "tt-s"???? ----- tried a search, but found little to nothing.

thanks!!! ------enjoy & good luck in the search for "tt"!!!
