Default Ruf Adjustable Suspension

Here's a picture of the Ruf adjustable suspension. All parts have a Ruf part number and logo. A Ruf technician will install it at my home next week. I'll keep you posted.

Viperbob, you're the man. I wish I lived close enough to take part - learn - in your offerings (I understand there was an operation within the past month?).

So, what are the spring weights?

Is that anti-roll bar adjustable?

And the price (kit, installation)?

[enquiring minds...]

Given recent experience, I suggest you pre-assemble the whole thing down to every nut and bolt ... sometimes things go missing and then you're stuck with a car with no suspension ... this happened recently on a set of PSS9's ...

I presume those are new rear spring hats?

Cheers,

ps. Do you have specifics on the differences between the Ruf and the "ordinary" PSS9s?

(do posts have ps's?)

Adam,

Ruf takes the PSS9 dampers and perform a special 'revalving'. Then they use different springs with unpublished spring rates. Normal for RUF.

fluid15,

Thanks. Actually the garage is going to be quite busy for the next couple of weekends. Besides putting my car back together (no small task at the moment) we'll be doing at least one, maybe two, PSS9 installs and one Moton install with remote reservoirs. Guess I need to restock the fridge with more beer for Adam.......

The Ruf package also includes an adjustable rear sway bar which the PSS9 does not. For me, the Bilstein warranty was the key over the Ruf.

Jauder... Sunday is bad for me.. I'm out of town next week.

SPR, check out www.p-car.com/diy for suspension diy instructions. There are small differences, but the basic theory is sound.
