Default Heavy steering wheel at High speed curving

At slow speed the steering wheel is light.
But when I drive at high speed and there is a curve, I apply brake and turn. The steering wheel is heavy.
Anybody has any ideas?
Only 1,300miles

Guessing but I would check suspension bushings, you are loading (or stressing it rearward ) your suspension with braking, and changing things enough to affect the steering.
I'm sure someone will chime in who has more experience with these cars.

Oops I was thinking I was on the Ferrari 328 forum, going senile, but still would check the suspension...
Are you also pushing in the clutch at the same time as braking? , they are on the same circuit, and the hydraulics may need to be checked

Depends but you are not giving enough data - for instance, your "heavy" might be someone's "light". Are you braking during a high speed turn (which is a no-no on these cars, you should brake before the turn if needed and use the throttle through the turn)?

On power, the steering can get a bit heavier because of the AWD system, and if power it going to the front wheels, you will feel it. If you are braking or off throttle, this should not be an issue.

Can you characterize "heavy" - is it still easily to drive, or really hard to turn?

Cheers,

Mike

Are you sure this isn't just the cars natural tendency to centre the steering wheel?
