Bought my TT S - includes pictures
Hi Guys,
So the search has been successful...I am now the proud owner of a 1997 993 TT S.
Thank you too everyone on the board, your assistance / suggestions and advice made this possible - many thanks.
We flew (wife and I) into Boston MA, last Thursday - caught the tail end of the Hurricane's nasty weather.
On Friday we drove to Bobby's place to view the car.
Bobby was kind enough to meet us and guide us to his house.
The first thing he did was open his garage to show us the car.
As the door opened, I caught my first glance at the back of the car - it was love at first sight, I could have handed him the cheque at that instant
After some social chats with Bobby and his lovely wife...got to meet little Bobby also, we then spent quite a bit of time going over some of the cars features.
We then took the car for a test drive...got lost - LOL, then returned and inked the deal.
Here are a couple of pictures, in the excitement I forgot that I had a camera with me
Me standing along side me new car...not a great shot.
Side view
Back view - with my missus in stealth mode.
Front view
Dash with loads of CF
Dash with the TurboS logo...note how even the vents are leather covered.
I have more pictures, but the carbon fibers detail causes the images to be too big...when I size them down you loose too much detail.
I will work on this and send some more.
Appologies if I uploaded them incorrectly or if they are too large etc...
Anyway, Horseless Carriage picked the car up Saturday night, delivery in 7-10 days (damn 7 more days of no sleep)
Thxs again to everyone - especially Bobby for his patience
- James

Hiya Bob!
What tires did you end up putting on those rims?
Yeah, the rims really worked out well for me.... I liked those 17's for the track.

Thxs guys, I can't wait for it to arrive...knowing my luck it will start raining the moment the car carrier comes into sight.
Carrera GT - when you say the window sticker do you mean the sales sticker ? - if so, I will get a shot of it when the car arrives.
Do you guys know of any locations for high octane gas in Seattle, and/or make any recomendations for a local service shop.
I would really like to use Steve at Rennsport, but the distance might make it impractical.

I believe Steve knows of a couple of shops up there that you can get routine service done. Just plan on visiting Steve when you want that "S" to go faster
