Ohhh, I almost forgot. The car looks really good. You definitely got the perfect color combination. Take good care of her. And most importantly, have lots of fun with her.

CGT,

The original deck was sold long ago, but if you notice the CD sticking out in the picture, that's a Public Enemy CD which was used to show James how to put the car into "Ghetto" mode. He'll be annoying his neighbors soon enough!

James, I don't think you'll care if it's raining when it gets there. The car is pretty dirty anyway from our "short" test drive

James,
Greg Fordhal at Fordahl motorsports is one of the premier Porsche Tuners in Seattle. 425-644-6020. You can also use, oh wait.... NYPD Blue just started... back later.

Edit: Commercial time, you can also use Monty at Redmond European. 425-376-2655. I have used him in the past and he came highly recomended by other p-car owners.

There are other options available based on were you live in the NW.

Enjoy your beautiful car,

Pete

Carrera GT - when you say the window sticker do you mean the sales sticker ? - if so, I will get a shot of it when the car arrives.
Do you guys know of any locations for high octane gas in Seattle, and/or make any recomendations for a local service shop.
I would really like to use Steve at Rennsport, but the distance might make it impractical.

Hi James:

Nice ride!!!! I really like your new car.

LOL,..I'm really not THAT far away,....and no sales taxes here, too.

Perhaps someone in Seattle can advise if anyone sells unleaded race gas at the pump; I'm not aware of any (same as PDX). I've just told people with TT's to buy a 55 gallon drum of Sunoco 104+ and mix it with pump fuel.

Nice car!!
My brother was looking at one but I suspect it wasn't a factory Turbo S. Where could I check the VIN no as p-car.com doesn't mention turbo S specifically in the VIN lookup.

Harry / RS man,

Two of the more definitive ways that come to mind are:-
1) Window sticker description of car with VIN correlating with VIN in car.
2) Calling Porsche (not dealer but the company) with VIN and asking for description and more.

Other possible sources for secondary confirmation after getting above information:-
1) Original selling dealer data if possible
2) All the various turbo S model specific cosmetics, aerodynamics, etc.

Good luck.

Thxs guys...she arrived on Sunday, unfortunately I am ill at the moment so really haven't had much chance to drive her.
RS man the "turbo S details" are the key to ensuring a genuine turbo s.
Also calling a local Porsche dealer with the VIN finalized it for me, my local dealers maint department was more helpfull that Porsche Cars America and was able to provide a whole slew of usefull information.
The in car details are "
Loads of carbon fiber.
Leather covered switched and *****
Leather headliner (is this the same on regular TT's ?)
Turbo S logo, on the dash carbon fiber near the glovebox,
Turbo S logo, on the door opener
Turbo S logo, embroidered on the back of the rear seats
Turbo S logo, embroidered on the trunk pocket
The big one - Turbo S Carbon Fiber strut brace.
Oh yes and the S oil cooler.

hope this helps

It arrived just in time for you to cover it and let it sit for winter in Seattle.

James,

That is one beautiful car! I sure hope that the weather here in Seattle holds up for you like last year so that you can really let your TTS stretch her legs. If you ever need a copilot or want a hand on a DIY, drop me a line.
