White TT
Looking for a white TT (glacier white my first choice). If anyone has lead on a nice (not looking for a a garage queen) car please let me know. I know Park Place has two,but one has way too much miles the other way to little. Besides their prices are ridiculous. thanks Mike W

Paul, I have been talking to a guy in california about a white tt and the car has possibilities. I had considered the black tt you had turned me on to, but i guess I prefer a white car. Fact is I am going to sell my car at some point,so I may have to consider other colors. I would be ok with a car similar to the one you bought. Mike W

Mike,
Take a look at www.luxcarnet.com
There are currently two white 993TT's for sale...Florida and Maryland.
The picture of the Maryland car looks nice.
Good luck with your search.

James, thanks for the post. I have looked on that sight. I actually checked on that florida car when i first started looking a month ago and it had been sold. The Maryland car looks good but I want to spend closer to $70k. That said your post made me email him anyway , so who knows, mabe he will take less. thanks again, Mike

The fully loaded white one at Park Place with 50K miles for $70K looks nice. I can't decide if I like the white/black interior - sometimes it looks really sweet and cool, other times it looks a bit Miami Vice-ish. But that car has been listed on their site for a long time so they may be willing to deal.

I was actually thinking about it for myself. I really like Speed Yellow and Silver, but one is very hard to find and the other is a bit common (but still nice!). White is an interesting color for a Porsche (one of my cabs is white) that very few people ever think of.
Good luck with your search!

Mike, the ad for the Maryland car doesn't say where in Maryland it's located, but if it's anywhere in the Balt-Wash corridor it wouldn't be too hard for me to go check it out if you'd like. Just let me know. Sounds like it has some intersting mods.

Thanks John, I agree it does look interesting. He is asking a bit more than I want to pay, but I did email the guy. If he responds and is flexible with price I will take you up on your offer. thanks again, Mike W

Burning Brakes
This is in response to the white car on luxcarnet. This car is indeed in the Washington area. It belongs to a friend of a friend. One thing you guys should be aware of with "Luxcarnet"...About 8 months ago I was selling my 96 C4S when I get two calls from them. They call (both sales reps) telling me they have two immediate serious buyers for my car. They want the vin, all service records, and for me to email an assload of pics to them as soon as humanly possible. After wasting my time I never heard back, but went to their site a week later to see my car marked up 3 or 4k above my asking price. if you contact them, you are not actually talking to the seller of the car. Long story short, email me offline and I will get the guys work email if you are interested in the MD turbo. I have seen this car on a number of occasions and appears to be pristine. PPI encouraged of course, blah blah blah.....ps - they still have my car listed although it sold 6 months ago...
