You just don't know if it's as good as it claims unless you do a thorough ppi. Why were the brake items replaced? The seats look like they might be a little worn. But if it really were a no stories 22k car, well taken care of yah da yah da yah da then I'd say the price is right.

White dials are nice. Curious about the brakes and the red spiral binder booklet. I think there have been higher ASKING prices though. Considering what the 964 RSA's and 997.1.2 RS's have been doing this is reasonable.

This is a very low asking price compared to many $190K to $249K asking prices posted in various threads on the 993 Turbo forum. Do a bit of a search........

JD-- A bit of an 'apples to oranges,' but drive up to Pompano Beach & see if this makes a 27k mile Turbo seem more affordable?

$240k USD.
Mileage ~19k. VIN WP0CB2962RS465407. No affiliation.

Another point of reference - they just pulled the ad so I can't reference it, but Weissach here in Vancouver had a speed yellow 993TT listed, 29,000KM (18,000 miles), pretty well stock but nicely equipped, asking $199,000 CDN, my understanding is it sold in just a few weeks to very close to listing price.

Holy. Even though I am riding a more worn horse than that, glad I am at least in the race!

Cheers,

Mike

This is so yesterday. The new norm ladies and gentlemen.

The real question is do we have the "cojones" to keep driving them.

this is crazy pricing. i have a 22K mile 993TT and i can't believe it would sell for anything close to that -seems like crazy to me because i surely wouldn't pay that much for it. good thing i have it already or i probably wouldn't own one anymore. good for us current owner but i'm not sure if it is sustainable. who buys these cars at these prices?

JD, i still have the white 930 i got from you. it has 62K miles now. that car is SO CLEAN. i still can't believe it. it's actually cleaner than my 22K mile 993TT. anyway, glad you're back to air-cooled porsches. can't believe how **** you are when it comes to cars and it shows in the 930.

happy holidays.

You are spot on! I have had 18 Porsches and likely have another dozen before I am too old or lazy to shift gears - and see this the odd time. I sold in February a 23K Mile 993TT Black Black with Sport Seats for NO WHERE near this money...and NO WHERE the kind of activity and hype that is being represented in some of the posts on Rennlist these days. Same with my Horizon Blue 993TT car in 2012. I would suggest that Rennlisters are the most captive market in the world and coupled with the internet and three or four traders (not enthusiasts) we are our own worst enemies drive values up amongst ourselves...resulting in the reality enthusiast can't afford to buy in or afraid to drive cars for a perceived value that is rarely ever achieved. The odd exceptional car (like any market) sells 20% below some of the big numbers seen but when you see well loved 70K mile cars in the market north of $ 100G's...some body will get caught with there pants down IF one is ever actually traded. Be patient and you will still be buying the car you want at a sensible price soon. This market is not only non sustainable - I don't think it exists at anything near what has been recently implied.
