Question PSS10 or NOT?

This is kinda stupid but I'm torn on whether or not to install a PSS10 suspension. Money is no object but I love the stock car as is and my tech advises not to modify my 16K mile "museum piece". He's installed lots of PSS10s and admits "it will make quite a difference". Because of my garage approach I won't be able to lower the car much - an inch or less. I'm never planning on selling and figure I can always re-install the stock suspension prior to an unlikely sale. What do you guys think?

Especially since you stated (like myself) you'll never part with her, do it and don't look back. Stash the parts in the attic and go enjoy your car even more. I've done a bit more than just the PSS set up, but the surgical feel is immense. If you want your car to be a grand tourer then softer settings. If you want great feedback, feel and trust in the handling, start throwing the greenbacks at it :-)

then there is NO need to change.
enjoy what you have.
if you are not actively driving / doing DEs or AX leave it as is.

Do it. And add the Walrod bushings. And a Golden Rod. And an FD Motorsport SSK. Santa says you've been good this year.

If you view your car (as some do) as a ROI item, then yes don't touch it. If you view and enjoy your car as a tool to put a smile on your face (as most of us do) then do as you please with your budget. Get any upgrade that'll enhance the experience. Although the stock suspension is nominally adequate, there's a handful of things that you can do which will open up a new world of handling. Make it a Merry Christmas and put new parts under the tree for yourself.

FD Motorsport also sells the Golden Rod.

They, and Walrod are both Rennlist valued sponsors.

I too love my stock low mileage TT (18.8K). However I have thought about this very scenario. I'm in no hurry but when you take the old suspension off, it will preserve it's history. You will have a set of stock 16K mile suspension components. Good deal.

Although I am also considering just doing a ROW M030 conversion to keep it in the Porsche family.

If you do sell your car at 25K miles you can throw in a 16K stock suspension for a measly 15K more.

Win-Win. Just do it.

I would do it, absolutely the best upgrade I made to my C2 so far. I think you nailed it with keeping the originals around if you ever decide to part with it. You will not regret it!! The adjustability factor and removing the SUV look are also big ++++
