I also put PSS_10s on my TT. They completely changed the car in a good way and the adjustability (damping and height) is phenomenal. I have the stock ones in a box in the attic and will gladly swap them out should I sell the car and OEM is preferred.

I have 305's on the rear and it's a close fit almost rubbing with the stock suspension. Won't PSS 10's increase the chance of rubbing? Has anyone had that difficulty with your current tires fitting but then when you lowered the suspension did they rub? I may have to blow through these current tires and put on 295's if I lower the suspension.

What kind of 305's do ya have. I tried to find 305/30-18's and couldn't
Only found 315/30-18's

Like others have said...

PSS10s all the way. I changed my stock suspension at 17k miles (24k now) and haven't looked back. Best bolt on performance mod by far. Completely changes the character of the car. They will give you much more confidence on the road.

I kept the Monroes and put them in a box for safe keeping. I did the same with the stock mufflers when I changed to Fabspeed. In the unlikely event that the car ever gets sold, I can put the parts back on (silly in my opinion)...or give them to the new steward.

The biggest surprise with the PSS10s is how comfortable they are. They are firm (I have them set in the middle up front and on 6 in the back) but they are not harsh. They are remarkably comfortable.

I put pss10s on this summer. Completely changes the stance and the feel of the car. My car has 58k miles and I doubt anyone ever want to put the stock suspension back on the car. Go for it.

All rightey then. The "get 'ems" have it. PSS10's it is. Final question is what is the minimum ride height reduction from stock? I have driveway clearance issues.

I don't know the exact measurement details but I think ROW height would work and would actually look best on your TT as far as the OEM look. RS height or even RS + 10 would likely be an issue clearance wise.

Good choice, you won't be disappointed!

Even though your factory suspension is very well ok based on the mileage, it is still an inferior setup vs the PSS10s. Don't forget over we were so lucky to get our suspension changed to meet law requirements and I'm sure Porsche in no way considered this any sort of an upgrade to ROW.

If you can I would go with the ROW Turbo setup as it sounds like you don't need anything overly aggressive, see this chart for reference.

Although I'm sure your mechanic/alignment shop with 993 knowledge will know what's best for your needs too.

Thanks a bunch. The chart looks like 30mm drop. According to the promo material the minimum ride height reduction is 1" and the maximum 1.75" from stock. If this is correct guess I'll have to go with 1". Maybe I'll fly Mike in to install it..... If you adjust the ride height after installation, do you need to redo the alignment?

You'll do an alignment after the install. There's no need to adjust the ride height after the install if done right and the height you want. After the install you can adjust and play with the dampening. No realignment needed for that.

Doing a proper alignment after new tires is always smart. And as quickly the Turbo eats rear tires, that was yearly for me.

I'm at 101mm front & 105mm rear. I can get past most approaches be angling it and crawling over it. Not fun to bottom out on ridiculously tall speedbumps

I have a specific clearance issue so I'll have the initial set-up done high, and lower if possible. That's why I need to know whether the ride height can be altered without a subsequent alignment.

Wheel re-inventing, but it's your time and money to waste!

If you go too low with your PSS10 you'll need the GT2 uprights and ti-rods otherwise you'll be all over the place with bump steer. Roads in Canada are not the greatest, I know I live in bumpy/groovy Quebec.
