Yes, it is ugly and gratuitous. But need to grab attention. Looking for a Turbo S with very low mileage (do not need any thread highjackers railing about garage queens - start your own thread) with rear seat and sunroof delete. There are more than a handful and I want one.
Serious car and serious money.

I don't doubt they exist, but I haven't seen a sunroof delete turbo s in the US. 400k might not get it done given the very specific requirements. Good luck. Post pics when you get one.

As someone trying to sell your own car, I understand why you would think that, but you're incorrect. I have been offered three cars, all with less than 5,000 miles, well under $400,000. Unfortunately, they all have sunroofs and rear seats so my search continues.

Good luck with your hunt!
Folks, this guy is the real deal. Seriously.
(Btw, if it helps, your initial post made it sound like you wanted rear seats and sunroof delete, not rear seats delete and sunroof delete. Just sharing as that was my initial read, and I only realized you wanted both deleted when I read further down in the thread.)

I think if no sunroof is a requirement, 400k might be too low. It all depends on how many cars, if any, there are that meet that description. With a sunroof, there are plenty of cars less than 400k. Most buyers wouldn't pay an extra 100k for no sunroof, but if, for example, there was only one such car, and two people each were willing to pay 500k for it, I guess that would make the sunroof delete worth 150k. I personally wouldn't pay extra for no sunroof, but I am not the one setting the price.

A fair point indeed, but it works both ways - most do not want the sunroof deleted, nor the rear seats. Therefore, if I'm the only one wanting this combination, it actually reduces the market value (along the lines of having a PTS color that only the current owner loves). But we'll see.

Trying to find a car that fits your description is half the fun. Enjoy the process.
My observation is anecdotal, but I've owned 993s for a while and I've been on Rennlist for a few years. I've seen a lot of for sale ads and read a lot of threads about 993 values. I'd bet a sunroof delete adds a premium to the price a Turbo S, in the same way as it seems to with all 993 variants.
As others have observed, there were not many Turbo S cars delivered without sunroofs. With 993s, rarity typically means higher prices (not in the case of tiptronic trannys, but in general). The Turbo S is itself a good example of this. Why is a Turbo S worth 3x the price of a Turbo? It all comes down to the number of Turbo S cars in existence.
I'm curious to know how many Turbo S sunroof delete models were imported. I've never seen one. Either way, I hope you find what you're looking for.

There is a (more) common mentality of wanting a GT(2/3) or RS type 'bare bones' car, the pure machine. No sunroof weight up high and no rear seats weight, original straight from the factory.
I'm no expert but these cars came out in the USA they were considered luxury sports cars. Did a lot of dealers spec their own allocation and not the end buyers I wonder? There were no $100k+ track car junkies buying from the dealer back then afai-remember so no reason to delete comfort items.
Personally, I would want sport seats too!

Has anyone here ever seen even a picture of a 993 Turbo S in the US without a sunroof? I'm wondering if the number of cars that meets this description is exactly zero. I have probably seen close to 100 of them, and don't recall ever seeing a sunroof delete. I have seen a couple of rear seat deletes, but the one I remember was not ultra-low miles and had a sunroof. I've seen a few non-Ss that meet the description, but not an S.
If anyone has a pic of a car that meets this description, I'd be interested. It sounds like secretcollector knows that they exist, so there must be some evidence somewhere.
