Default Re: Online Classifieds

Hi Guys,

I am busy with my search for the perfect 993TT.
Currently I am using these sites :

www.luxcarnet.com
www.autotrader.com
www.pca.org
www.dupontregistry.com
www.wwwheels.com
www.cars.com

And ebaymotors...wouldn't buy on auction, but often dealers advertise on this site.

Any other suggestions ?
Oh yeah and I am looking for a 97 TT, Black on Black.
I don't want a high mileage car nor do I want a garage queen
I was thinking about mid 30's to 40 k miles...not dollars - LOL I wish.
Service history and overall condition are important.
Distance is not much of a problem, in the USA that is. I would prefer a NW region car, but will look further a field dependant upon available selection.

Anyway, thxs in advance for any feedback.

Regards

- james

Pssst.......

Hey James...?????

Just above where you are reading this - click on "classifieds" top right corner of the page....

I just did a search in all 3 sets of classifieds - and came up with a bunch of "hits". I didn't read them all - but I think there are over 200 or so Porsches listed..???

HTH!!!!

Oh I almost forgot..!!!!

And if that doesn't work for you - go here:

Rennlist Car Locator

and fill out the form. It's a free ( ) Rennlist/ThaList service for Rennlisters. You "wish list" gets sent to a network of nearly 300 high-line dealers throughout the US, and your request is treated in confidence to ONLY approved dealers....

Hope this helps!

Stoddard(OH), Valley (ND) and Princeton (NJ) all have Black 993 Turbos on their lots. The car at Princeton comes with a Certified PCNA Warranty.

Another good place is www.993tt.com

Go to the "buying a twin turbo" section. In that section he has links to many Porsche classiifeds.

Guys,

I checked out the cars on Rennlist, mainly 96's - one nice Black on Black in NJ for $79,500.
I really like the Black on Black at Princeton, low mileage and the balance of factory warranty.
I spoke with the sales rep, but they don't seem to want to move from $84,995 stated on the web site.
Is it me or does this seem to be carrying a premium price because of the low mileage (21k). I was hoping he would go for $78-79 k but the only way he seemed willing to move was if I dropped the Porsche warranty.
Stoddard has one (27k miles) for 78,900 I haven't phoned them yet...gota go make a call.
Has anyone seen or know about either of these two vehicles ?
Trackman - thxs for pointing these two vehicles out to me

Regards

- james

I was involved in a deal that didnt go well with the car at Stoddard. I can fill you in on the details if you want (ie I know exactly what the dealer paid). The car is in fantastic shape. Let me know if you would like more info.
