Thanks everyone for the kind words. Final verdict with the interior was to stay blue. I did change the carpet to black due to personal preference but I couldn't justify another 10k for new seats and all new black leather/headliner etc...

Eddie told me he's putting her back together now and hoping to have it back next week. Want to get feedback on a few mods with the other RUF owners so please comment if you had installed the FD SSK and golden rod and potentially Wevo blacks. I'd love to know if there were any issues, and general feedback on those mods specifically.

Will update soon with final pics and hopefully tack on some mileage!

This is an excellent update to any +15 year old 993 variant. Do it.

I had it in my prior TT and loved it. Wasn't aware before my post that the prior owner had removed an older ssk and took it back to stock not too long ago. I'll drive her some before making any decisions.

Thanks

I had FD MotorSports install their SSK and golden rod last year, and they were GREAT improvements. I delayed this for a long time because my stock shifter was smooth as butter (yes, 130,000+ miles) and I didn't like that big hump that most SSKs require under the car. FDMs kit has a tiny bump, and the shifting is still smooth, just more precise and shorter throws.
I also had FDM install RS mounts for me along with a fresh (stock) transmission mount. My stock engine mounts were still fine, the trans mount had lots of cracks in the rubber and the net result was near zero. I think you can feel some positive results from the aftermarket mounts if your stock ones are worn, or perhaps if you track the car. For me... nada.

No I did not. I contemplated it, but thought my $ was better spent somewhere else. The RUF mirrors are really nothing special IMHO. The integrated roll bar and the RUF seats on the other hand were VERY tempting.

since you were doing new paint on the car

the Dollars shouln't be that much difference concerning body works, but ok the mirrors need to be replace by RUF one's which may not be cheap !

integrate roll bar & particularly seat look very very good choice for sure
