I think it looks much better with standard turbo front and rear bumper covers. Send me your RUF bumper covers and I'll ship my stock covers down ASAP. We'll call it an even trade
Beautiful work. Would love to get rid of my gutters

Funny enough I stopped in to wish Eddie a Merry Christmas this week and he showed me some of the on going projects mine actually among them but down the street at Mikes..
When I saw the Ruf and realized the interior was blue I mentioned to Ed all the back and forth contentious threads about this car ,I for one thought it was pretty neat but second the
Removal of those god awful rocker covers.
He mentioned the prior poor workmanship but showed me the corrections he was implementing ,he'll of a craftsman your in the right hands for this now!
Up in the air presently headed east but my pic looks about the same as the last she's in primer getting blocked near ready for paint.
Ed did my GT2 and doing a 993 RS Cup conversion now would be hard pressed to risk any where else with the kind of cash outlay required to get desired results , Bert

Budge96- the cup car on its way from Atlanta? Pretty sure Eddie was telling me about it when I was there yesterday. It's a great shop and Eddie is THE MAN!

The problem with using lead is that since it is a dissimilar metal to steel, an EMF will be set up between the two and corrosion occurs. Lead is a great material for a restoration but modern polymer fillers are much better for long-term durability.
DB, just curious, are you doing a glass-out, bare metal respray? Edit: I see the answer is no. Looking good, even now. BTW, I vote for the blue interior. Good luck.

And now paint!
I'm leaning toward keeping the blue interior and 996 sport seats for now, but putting in black carpet instead of the faded blue. I hope to get back soon! The weather in LA has been perfect

Absolutely beautiful. My wife looks at the pictures like "alright and you think that's really great because???", when I show her telling her how incredible it would be to get rid of the gutters.
