$6500 - wow!

Rotec is an option for sure - I know Ray quite well, straight shooter and backs up his products.

Cheers,

Mike

I could understand if you just HAD to keep it factory seats. But yea $6,500 that's a little overboard. I'd use 3000 or so for the strongest, lightest seats and use the rest for other upgrades.

Update: My seat search is done. I purchased and received a nice pair of 997 GT3 seats from a fellow Rennlister. I want to thank him for making the transaction very easy & speedy. I have mounted the Drivers seat and will work on the Passenger seat later today. Pics to come.

Point of reference I used the Brey Krause 996 to 993 Seat Rail adaptors and they worked perfectly.

Photos ASAP please. May I ask what they ended up costing with mounts? Thanks

total cost was just under $2,800.00 that was for the seats, shipping of the seats, & 2 sets of brackets.

Here's some pics. They look pretty slick in the Slate Grey car I must admit. 996 GT3 steering wheel, 997 GT3 seats, my car is quite the Frankenstein

also, the pics are terrible and done with my phone...sorry. One day I'll use a real camera.

The seats look great Chad. Can't go wrong with the alcantara bits either.

Clearly someone else thought so too judging by the footprints on the inserts

Yes. Someone else on here(I can't remember who though) recently added full leather GT2 seats and they look phenomenal. Those were just waaaaay out of my price range.
