Default 993 Turbo Nordschleife - great sound

Anybody have an idea how this TT may be setup to produce such a nice tone?

It's like the turbos haven't siphoned any of the sound, I wanna say it almost sounds like a NA.

I've heard the fabspeed bypasses before and I don't think they come even close to this tone:

I'm impressed!

To me, sounds pretty similar to my car with the Fabspeed bypasses. I can't drive like that though.

As great as our lives are guys...could you imagine being able to drive your TT over to the Nordschleife for a Sunday drive. that would be amazing.

^^ Did a few laps there in my turboR. It's an amazing experience in one of our cars. Also got two laps in the right seat of a 997 Cup prepared by Manthey Racing for the VLN series. Now that's a whole different thing!

Careful. The wake from that whale tail is going to lift that westfield/caterham off into the bleachers!

Struggling with a little too much understeer?

I think my "Dr' J's" sound like that on the track. . Have to dig up a video to check - but I think I shot most of mine with the window open, so there is a lot of wind noise. Also, the microphone can really impact what the sound of the car is recorded like (unlike what it may sound like in real life).

Your car has that nice mixing cat that really makes your tone great, but I think it also decreases the volume and pitch.

Cheers
