Canepa's got a nice TT for sale

Thats a really nice car. But I don't think it should pull that cash. Maybe 115 if it were a sunroof and rear seat delete with 10K less miles.
Wouldn't that be a great Turbo S color combo though. All those options on a Turbo S... (drooling)

Not even a factory powerkit.... One in Houston last year with less than half that mileage, Polar Silver, Boxster Red interior, Carbon everywhere, Color Match Hardbacks, Sunroof delete, Rear Seat Delete, X50 Powerkit, All turbo S exterior options on the front (No Spolier or Side ducts) all verified as original options from PCNA certificate sold for 114K.
THat car was a steal compared to this one.

^ Yeah, Ray sold that car to Bruce (for much less, probably) who then sold it for much more.... Probably.

I think these are pretty valuable cars but that price is way out of line, particularly for that interior colour which isn't for me, and even though supple leather is my favourite. Nice unique exterior colour. I think you'd have trouble getting $85 for that up here.....

Silly money. This car is a regular Turbo, nice color but compromised interior (no sport seats, too much red), and low to medium miles, certainly not the sub-10K mile cars we have seen.
However, he might get it - its a weird market out there.

Clarification on the other turbo that Canepa had for sale last year...it was arctic silver and the turbo s front spoiler and the power kit were added after the delivery from the factory and that was done by the 3rd owner of the car...it was not sold by RPM to Canepa but by the person who bought it from RPM

Keep in mind (from what I gather) that's what he's asking. With that exterior color, white gauges and seat delete it has some bonuses. If I were a car dealer I'd ask too much for it too and just have it on the lot (or museum in this case) just to have a rarer colored car sitting around for a bit. Has anyone looked at the carfax history? I'm not a huge fan of the steering wheel in that color - or the interior color in general. Nice gauges though. I had never heard of the de-badging from the factory and they should remove that amp like looking thing in the front compartment. Love the exterior color.

There are cars still in his showroom for sale at ridiculous asking prices that were there the last time I was there in 2008. I guess eventually they will be priced at market. Just sayin' ...

Yup. There's a handful of cars that have been there for over a year possibly 2 years or longer iirc. The red heavily modified Speedster and the Merc DTM car have been there for a very long time. He did have a price on the Speedster and it was bonkers. On the other hand the rest of the inventory does seem to move. This 1997 911 is nice but I don't think they would want to have it sitting around that long.

I too have cool stuff sitting around that I could have sold years ago - I just like having it.

Let's hope the Canepa soap opera doesn't repeat itself...
