I have always been told to do a PPI and Carfax before taking the car home.

I was almost positive that car had the power kit on the certificate.

I recently received a broadcast e-mail from Canepa that he was moving on to other projects and was reducing the prices on 10 or so cars. He even listed the actual reductions, which I recall as being non-trivial. I do not recall that he has done this before so perhaps he is anxious to move some inventory.

I was the third owner. The items referenced were put on when I had the car sent to RPM.

Cool, So was it the OEM turbo powerkit that I saw on the certificate? I try to remember these things. Especially since that became my screensaver for months Yes... You apparently were my idol for a while. That car is what my wife says I should have bought and not modified. I live here in Houston. So, missed out on that machine to be honest. You still have pictures of it?. You could adorn this thread with a wonderful comparison.

When (or if) my other car gets done, You might see mine on Ray's site, done several cars with him over the years, will be less than $126k.

nobody has mentioned the `low miles all original` car he sold about a year ago that was written off IIRC by insurance and never fixed properly. I think the way he dealt with that deal I would not enter any transaction with him.

The OEM turbo kit was not on the COA as it was added when I owned the car and it was at RPM.

I will check for pictures, but I do not believe I have any. I do have a scan of the original window sticker. I delivered the original window sticker along with other records I had to the current owner of the car who is in NJ also. I met him a few weeks back.

^^^ c'mon. It was just minor repair in both fenders. Lol. Just your typical tollbooth dents right?
