No differences on the RUF suspension and stock re: offsets. The CUFs (ROTtec replica's) have a different offset than the RUF wheels, and the 7mm spacer is just to push them out a bit to fill the wheel well. 7mm is right on the edge of what you can do without replacing the studs, I find it pushing too much but its personal choice since the number of thread turns gets down to 6-7 turns.

Mike (and all) - do the CUFs take standard Porsche center caps or something different? Edit - found answer on ROTtec website is standard OEM caps. Will a standard open steel lug nut be fully engaged with these spacers? Don't remember how many turns with stock wheels and the garage is too cold to check right now.

shhhzaammm,
Sent you a PM. I have a 993TT which is very low and looking to purchase RUF wheels. I would actually prefer original 18's but if the 19's are less expensive sine manufactures make knockoffs I wanted to know the following.
- Did you pull the trigger?
- If so, what offsets, spacers (if any) and rubber did you use?
- How low is your car.. maybe if you could measure from cement to top of wheel arch it would help me to compare mine which is slammed.
- And, if you don't mind who had the most competitive price and why did you go with them.. price, quality, etc.
Thanks in advance,
Bryan

Hi Bryan, I did pull the trigger but I went with the knockoffs from that Canadian company primarily b/c you don't need spacers with them AND they are a ton less $$
I'll measure for you when i when i get home later
Bottom line? You really can't go wrong with either. If you go real Ruf be prepared to spend triple after you are done with buying the proper spacers. And you must buy the spacers advocated from Ruf. And tires will be nearly triple as well although i haven't tire shopped in 6 months.
The rears are 11's so I chose 305's. You can't put (or shouldn't put) 305s if you choose a 10" wheel. I went with 305/30/19 Michelin pilots and I think 245/35/19 in front. They don't look stretched, the sidewalls are straight up perfect vertical and I like the esthetics of having a one foot wide rear end.
The 19's handle amazing but ride "noticeably" quite harder than 18's.
If you go real Ruf you have to find an installer (who is competent) who will work with spacers. I have spacers on my Jeep Wrangler and I had trouble with them so I was terrified of dealing with spacers on a 911's set-up. Although I'm sure you will find many chiming in with testimonials of having no trouble with spacers...they are braver than i.

Good to know and I will await your info.
I currently 19's since I have a 15" rotor kit up front and will be selling my Victor wheels that the car came with. If you would prefer feel free to PM me and I would be happy to call to get some further info on cost and offsets, etc..
Thanks,
Bryan
