I'm sure Peter attacked the issue at its core

I was hoping I'd be able to use the vintage Fuchs centers I've had gathering dust in a cabinet for ~20 years but sadly they machined the center differently.

Picked up the car yesterday after total overhaul of entire suspension: disassembled, bead blasted, powder coated, new bushings everywhere and a lot of new pieces. Rebuild of all calipers, lines, rotors.
New Fuchs look just like I imagined, similar to a 78 SC I used to have.

Quick update on the 'new' tt:
I got the Porsche certificate in the mail yesterday and sure enough the wood trim is all factory "root wood light" is the term they use, doors, dash, handbrake and shift ****.
Also thought I'd share photos of one of the turbos that got replaced. Interesting that I was getting 8bar when I had it at the track; obviously that was complements of just one turbo.
