Those Fuchs look great, been thinking along the same lines. Looking for something dark to contrast with silver. What was the source?

Peter Dawe and company are a great bunch of guys

I'm sure Peter attacked the issue at its core

Tech 9 Motorsports in the UK. Don't know them at all, just found them via search. No one stateside is a distributer yet, but the exchange rate isn't too bad at the moment. They turned out to be great to deal with. http://www.tech9.ms/performance/perf...iew/wheels.htm

Ha, no of course not. Thanks for the photos. Peter does a fantastic job with the race car. My son and I co-drove an enduro in Sept and Peter did the prep and setup, then tuned to my kid's preference during race support. It was mind bogglingly good.

I was hoping I'd be able to use the vintage Fuchs centers I've had gathering dust in a cabinet for ~20 years but sadly they machined the center differently.

Picked up the car yesterday after total overhaul of entire suspension: disassembled, bead blasted, powder coated, new bushings everywhere and a lot of new pieces. Rebuild of all calipers, lines, rotors.

New Fuchs look just like I imagined, similar to a 78 SC I used to have.

Quick update on the 'new' tt:
I got the Porsche certificate in the mail yesterday and sure enough the wood trim is all factory "root wood light" is the term they use, doors, dash, handbrake and shift ****.

Also thought I'd share photos of one of the turbos that got replaced. Interesting that I was getting 8bar when I had it at the track; obviously that was complements of just one turbo.

Did you get a rebuild or just buy factory new?
