Turbo rebuilt.. where to send
Told I need a new turbo.. have the leaking and smoking. Passenger side was smoking and leaking oil from turbo housing.. did the oil change and filter with Porsche filters at Porsche dealer, now much worst, the driver's side is now also leaking .. ... Dealer Mechanic say need new turbo.. $5500.. I say rebuilt.
Where can I have them rebuilt? Recommendations?
Other opinions on what to do?

If your smoking problem is worse after an oil change than I bet this is related to a higher oil level in your engine.
The best solution would be to use the modified turbo oil return lines from
https://rennlist.com/forums/9346787-post1.html
and only if the problem persists proceed with an turbo charger rebuild.
For a rebuild in europe/Italy I can suggest http://www.dieselevante.com
Cost is about 350 Eur each if no major defect.

I think quite a few turbos get rebuilt before it's necessary. Can't be sure you're in that category without a few questions and checks.
1. what weight oil is being used? 15/50 seems to be the recommended weight; something like 10/40 is generally considered too thin.
2. can you confirm that the oil level is not too high? Might be challenging to get the oil hot so that you can accurately check the level if the car is smoking heavily
3. replacing the small filter on the engine with another new Porsche dealer sourced with Porsche part number on the box filter that has been hand tightened is a cheap check.
4. Engine off remove the under tray, put drain pans under the turbo sumps and remove the drain plugs. A little oil should run out and then stop. If it runs on and on then either the engine is overfilled, the wrong filter is installed and/or a factory filter has been installed but overtightened.
report back!

I'm with Felix on this. We need more info... how many miles on your car? Do you typically "cool" your turbos after hard use? When did this smoking start (after an oil change? Some other event?).

~65650 miles. Drive about 9000 in the last 8 years, about 200-400 / year the last 4
Dec 2011: Noted a 5" oil stain on the cardboard below the passenger's side turbo, and huge smoke on start up, to local INDY who is thought to be a 993 guru, and he found nothing significant, alothough he did say there was gas in the oil, thinking it out, and like a result of 18 months since last change. HE did an oil change with Rotella, which he thought was better than Synthetic. Also filter change
Drove car often 100-200 per week, with small puff on start up, then Aug 2012 HUGE smoke and off to dealer for a second opinion.
Dealer mechanic thought also it was the oil filters, did oil change and filter change with Porsche filter, used the Synthetic oil Mobil 1, and said to watch it.
Drive home. parked it. 4 days later, 6" oil stain on the cardboard below the Passenger's side and 5" below the driver's (the driver's side was clear before) AND huge smoke on start up and continues. The oil drops are off the bottoms of the turbo same on each side. SEE picture
