I was hoping someone here may know Miami well... I am buying a car and need recomendations on shipping companies to get the car from Miami to Newport RI and also an independant Porsche Shop for PPI...prefer not a dealer unless someone has a strong recomendation on one.

Don't use a dealership for the PPI. They won't know that car from beans. You'll need a good indy shop. Why ship it? Go get 'er and drive it home. Become one with the Turbo!

I used Intercity Lines recently to transport an S5 I bought from Detroit to NYC. They were the most reasonable for an enclosed transport and they kept to the agreed schedule. Ask for the PCA discount.
