picked it up today!!!!!!
owned a lot of Porsches, but my only 993 was a Targa. Which was a very cool car BTW
Just picked up my TT and drove it home. Pretty much tollway all the way but what a car!!!!
I love it. Hit 0.8 and snap!
Yes, it understeers and if someone can tell me how to kick out the tail, that's cool. But even so.... Holy Cow
Much smoother and easier to drive than expected. The clutch is a feather! You can start by just about letting it out and then stepping on the throttle. Almost C-GT like.
Totally stock. Pics to follow. It's like a new car, still has shipping plastic on the carpeting. Previous owner was OCD for sure

Well good question. I have owned one and came close to buying a TTS.
The 997 TT is a very very good appliance. it is fast, quiet, smooth. No doubt stock for stock faster.
1) 993TT to my eye is perhaps the prettiest 911 of all time
2) View from the driver's seat. That short hood, like you're right over the road
3) Easy to drive (yeah, so what?)
4) Oil cooled, a real Porsche
5) 993TT values going UP, 997 TT...?
6) Porsche has been on a long march toward too much civility. I think the 993 is the perfect medium between the poles
