Funny thing, I've owned literally more than a dozen 911's over the years but this one (993TT) is just the most exciting and "fun". I'm wondering how I missed this the first time around
look at her smile... amazing!
OK, for those of you seasoned owners;
I suspect we'll need new springs and shocks for lowering. Any other suspension or alignment suggestions? Strictly a street car
Power enhancements? I know they abound but feel that one needs at least 25% delta to really "feel" it. So, what have some of you done? ECU, turbo units, exhaust mods?. Don't want it so loud I can't hear anything else or worse yet, a drone...
Yes, Berg, Michael. Nice fellow

For power I'm loving my Protomotive 16/16G & Todd K ECU. Runs Smoother than stock and yet has the added 100hp the car needed.
I'm also a big fan of the KW V3's that I have on my car...but the PSS10's also seem good.

Gorgeous car!!! I knew it was going to be Red
The only thing I do not like about the 993's are the wheels. I like the wheels with some sort of dish. I am also a fan of black or charcoal colored interiors.
Can't believe it only has 10K miles, thats insane.
Are you glad you ended up with the 993 over the 964?

I have mixed emotions about the 3.6. On one hand it is the hen's tooth of the breed. On the other, it isn't as nice to drive. I wasn't looking for nice, really. Was looking for a real keeper, my DD is a BMW E93 M3 and have the best of both worlds.
Could have popped either way, but the 964 seller wanted too much. 3.6's will always be coveted for what they are, 993TT for what they are and do. What a wonderfully balanced car! Yes, it understeers (as all FWD's do), but you can play it with throttle (yes, done it already) to some extent. I would think some can be dialed out with suspension parts and tweaks, but understeer just is in these.
