UPDATE: The car has sold. That didn't last long... Believe the car sold for $60K and is going to California. Hope it went to a Rennlister and we see them on the boards.

First off this isn't my car... Its a car that I saw come into the dealership as a trade in. I was considering the car at first but have opted not to buy it since I already have one. Here's what I know about the car. Also, I'm not affiliated with the dealership in any way other than I've bought a few Rovers from them. I also consider them to be a decent dealership. That said, here's want I know about the car.

Its at Land Rover Seattle.
I believe its a 1996 and is Guards Red over Black.
Car appears to be 100% stock.
I haven't driven the car but it looks to be in excellent condition.
I was told there are extensive service records.
Car has 61k miles.
Price point I was told will be mid-upper 50's.
Car is not on their website yet. They've only had the car for a couple of days.

Anyone looking for a Guards Red over Black 993TT should take a look at the car and do their due diligence with a proper PPI from an independent shop.

Anyhow, hope this helps anyone out looking for a 993TT in this color combo.

Update2: Looks like the former deal fell through. The car is available and on their website. Just wanted to pass it along. If I learn any further info I'll post it.

Heard they have an oil leak on the car and are pulling it into the shop to have the service guys check it out.

Wait a minute. Car is at a Land Rover dealer? Rovers are *supposed* to leak oil. Those service guys will pronounce it as Situation Normal.

Sorry, I'm in a Seattle state of mind. Looking for a local PPI resource for a potential upcoming purchase...

I guess the guys at the Land Rover shop are out.

Try squires he works on a lot of 993turbos ...he found some blown valves on a car I was looking at 7 years ago (car was owned by previous Seattle Seahawk Reggie Tongue)
