Take them both for a drive on a winding country road, then tell us your conclusion :-) . I sometimes grumble in the 993 when I'm banging over potholes in Vancouver, but when I get out in the open for a few hours, it ALL comes back to me. 996 does nothing for me, personally - good deal for someone on a budget wanting a Porsche, but with the 993 and that Ferrari, you have the best two sports cars of that era under one roof!

Wow sounds like for $50K someone will get a great 993 TT, formerly owned by a reputable shop too. You can't go wrong with this car.
Of course my vote, sell the 996 even if you get less that what you originally paid for, in the long run you'll prob have seller's regret with the 993.
