Default Forest Green Turbo S

This popped up on eBay last night at a dealer in Virginia .. I have no affiliation etc., but I think this is the only Tannengruen Metallic (Forest Green) 'S' I've ever seen and considering the models production numbers, could be the only one made. Not a 'Perfect' car for the purist collector, so might go for "reasonable" money ... anybody here know of it?

^Hey JP!! I almost bought a '97 C4S with a factory aero kit in that color, before finding my 993TT.

I've been trying (and failing) to copy one of the eBay pics for my 993 picture collection ... I'm such a tech-challenged dork .. anyway, I LOVE this color, it's really rich and deep green in the sun .. here's a Forest Green Targa picture I've had for awhile that doesn't do the color justice, but it gives a good idea ... Hey, just realized ... if I had this Turbo S parked next to the Speedster, it would be Christmas in my garage all year long in more ways than one ..

This car was on here a while back, dealer got it at auction, wrong exhaust, wheels, intercooler & who knows what else, no records. Hard to believe someone would change intercooler without doing turbos, software, ect. I think it's been modded. Redonkulous wheels

Thanks Chuck! So, how do you do that on eBay photos? Is there a trick to it? I just tried to right-click on the pictures in the eBay ad and 'save as', but no worky, never worky on eBay.

Anyway, it's an 'S' in a rare color at no reserve. I'd take it in a heartbeat for anything 'reasonable'. It will be interesting to see how much it goes for .. or doesn't go for ... no matter what, a blue-chip investment for sure even if you had to go find a stock intercooler for it.

Right click on the photo and go to the bottom of the list, "Properties". Cut and paste the URL address to your computer and it will open the photo up. You can then save that photo. Easy stuff!

Ha! Thanks for the photo tips :-). You KNOW it would be one of the best afternoons of your life, having this car in your garage, taking those SSR wheels off and putting the stock Turbo Twists (in that special silver paint ..) back on AND realizing the whole time that you can sell them here on RL for a few thousand ..

Thanks buddy, I'll get the hang of this bloody interwebz monkey binnis eventually ..

OMG ... look at that factory Carbon interior ... If this car goes off below $100K .. I'll be muttering under my breath about it for a week .. So, here's my idea .. bring the car to that upholstery shop in Torrence that does the hardback sportseat conversions and have the seats converted with Forest Green painted backs .. and while they're out of the car, replace the carpet with black carpet including the door pockets ...
