yeah, i'd probably just do the update with the new belt.

More deflection than fan belt so tension doesn't seem to be very high. I'll get everything updated when she goes in for oil change in November. Thanks for the clarifications and advice. Sure is worthwhile to pay attention to the discussion on this forum!

While you're working on this check your alternator to make sure its not nearly dead too. I threw 4 belts straight at the track not too long ago. Issue was the alternator. Replaced it and no issues. Then did the double belt single pulley setup...just because!!
