108,000 miles! The car actually does not look too bad, other than some wrinkles in the seats, and someone coated the inside of the wheel wells with a black undercoating....would not buy the car, especially for $56,850, but its interesting. I wonder how much hidden wear there is (like 100,000+ miles of power running through that driveline!).

Don's car had >140K miles - had engine work done but didn't think he had to have much done to the other components. https://rennlist.com/forums/showthre...ferrerid=28499

Rufus has 130,000. MSW had over 250,000 and finally couldn't pass smog and replaced the engine.

I am up around 148k with Don's old car. Running great and passed smog no problem (once we were able to get the cycles to run in the computer). The car has been a lot of fun and reliable.

Spiffing up a few things and I will be sure to post some pics when done. She is looking great.

Amazing. That's my goal. At 2K miles per year it'll only take another 143 years! What oil are you using again??

Ronnie, when we've asked MSW this question in the past, his answer was Red Line's 15W50.

I've used Red Line (5W40) for a few years in my Boxster with excellent results.

Those seats look like they have been recovered, leather appears not to be perforated.

Sure is great testimonial for the product. Mine's always had M1 15w50 but I'm switching to M1 V Twinn 20w50 this fall. Tech says I might have some cold starting problems??

Ronnie, the V-Twin 20W50 is excellent. Several of us Turbo owners are now running this oil, since Kevin's sound recommendation. My Blackstone used oil analysis reports have been great, and keep improving the past 18 months.

I've done 3 V-Twin oil changes the past 18 months (4th one due in about 6 weeks). My wear metals have been cut in half during the past 15,000 miles (now about 52,000 miles). It's like the engine is still breaking-in. In fact, my UOA's for the Turbo are becoming very similar to the UOA's from my 2006 Boxster S with 44,000 miles (owned since new).

Ronnie, have you ever looked at a quart of Mobil 1 in your garage in the dead of winter? My 5W40, 5W50, 20W50 and even the 75W90 Delvac (gear oil) all look about the same, from a cold flow characteristic in the bottle. Very "un-scientific" I know.

I don't think you'll have any cold start problems. Your Turbo is properly maintained. With a quality battery, on a proper battery maintainer, the car will fire-up just fine. Then, no RPM's over 4K until oil temp says, "go time". As you know and follow already.
