993TT UMW Oil Check Valve kit
#16
The prior owner of my Turbo had Kevin's check valves (the old ones) put in when the turbos were replaced. Very early in my ownership, the driver's side line started a small leak. My mechanic talked with Kevin, and the new updated lines were ordered and installed. My mechanic also ordered and used the sealant recommended in Kevin's install instructions.

Are you doing the work yourself? I enjoyed doing mine and host of other things while I was in there.

Patrick,
Care to share all the other maintenance items you covered when you put the lines in? I'm about to put my check valve kit in (I'm a fairly experienced wrench) and would like to address anything else that would make sense while I'm in there. Car has 20K.
E.g. spark plugs, wires, clean TB?
Thanks in advance,
Ian

See turbo r specs elsewhere to see what Ruf does in conversion. ECU is definitely a part of the conversion

Brad, your rockers were scuffed and pitted. To grind and reharden your existing rockers would have left them in too thin. Similar to resurfacing a flywheel or rotors. The Moss crew was quoted the cost and a check was promised. 120 days later zero monies showed up. I received your email and told you to call me. The number is 360.805-9066 There is a balance owed.
Parsonii, the price of my kit will go up to $495.00 when Porsche America runs out of the factory 996TT check valves. I have to pay a higher price to secure the valves. The price when the kit was released was $295.00, the retail price of the kit is $495.00 A discount is available to my customers and when I can provided it. The kit has been re-designed 3 times. Porsche has changed the chack valve design twice which impact the thread depth/fitting design.
