I bought this car. I'm a huge fan of one-owner vehicles and this had very low miles. Not a scratch on it and all original paint.

Wow. Great looker. PCA member etc. Us **** retentive car geeks are good

Would be interesting to get you impression of the two. I have had both the 996 and the 993. Can't be compared apples to apples. Would be nice to have both for different reasons.

Yea - its fun right now as I have a 930, 993TT and 996TT. They are all drastically different and all very special in their own way. I would love to keep them all.

I would suggest keeping the sport seats with the 993 Turbo as they are original to the car. Keep the RUF wheels and put the stock turbo twist wheels back on in the long run I believe that is how the car will sell...

Yep. That's the plan. I'm going to put the stock wheels back on the car next week and put the RUF's up for sale. The car will be repriced to $59k

Dfwporsche, that sounds like a good plan.

Is your interior Classic Grey or Linen Grey? If you further decide to sell the sport seats, and need 2 OEM seats, my wife would love me to sell you my 993 OEM Classic Grey seats, heated, full power (both) and Porsche crests in headrest.

The only wheels I like as much, or more than my Speedline Daytonas are the 18" RUFs. Those will go fast.

That's a great plan and excellent deal at $59k. Lots of guys will want those 18 Ruf, or putting them on the 996TT will look great too.

Looking forward to some 996TT pics when it's back from getting upgraded.

I actually tried putting them on the 996TT. They looked a little small but I think part of the problem is the stock ride height. I also didnt have the right spacers for the front. I think the RUF 19's are required for the 996 but those are like a damn unicorn to find.

RUF 19's should not be hard to find. They still sell them new as far as I know. Call the US guys in MI or email Germany. Not so long ago, there were a few sets for sale on RL.

Default stock

I bought a great set of 993 power seats from L.A. dismantlers shipped for around $1,300 sold sports for $4,000. Selling stock just gets more, you could wind up $5-6k ahead easily selling those parts
