Default Sport seats and RUF 18" Wheels

There are several people interested in my 993TT for sale
http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...id=AT-120c40e9

Its seems most of the interested parties dont value the RUF wheels or sport seats as much as they should. I am considering the idea of selling the wheels and seats separately and then just lowering the price of the car. The wheels are worth $3500 and are pretty rare (as we all know) not sure what a good price would be for the seats? Any ideas? Also if I sell the seats - are they simple to remove and is it easy to find OEM Gray seats to match the car?

Thanks.

3k - 4k for the seats... If they were black I'd say even more $$$

BTW - the seats are heated. Not sure if that adds to the value

These seats are coveted by many. Much bigger demand than supply. You have the light grey which normally black is the most $$$, but you rarely see any of these for sale, you can get $3750 easy. My only feedback is, if these seats came stock with the car, I would leave them in for the sake of originality. If not, sell!

Those wheels are outstanding. 18inch much more than 19inch in my opinion.

I do agree with your assessment above, and trying a different sales tactic, lowering the price of your car into the $50's should get it sold. I still can't believe its not sold the way it sits right now....gorgeous car, well taken car of, extras with the wheels and seats, come one people!!

Just read the seats are heated, up that price another $500, now $4250-$4500.

I have black/black with Porsche crest, near perfect and taking my out this week. Super
easy to do, 4 bolts per seat and detach power. If you find new seats, just make sure they
have 993 rails so they will bolt right in. GT3 rails can be converted and have a DIY.

BTW, you owe us some pics of that 996TT! Hubba Hubba!

Pics soon. Its going to get the full UMW makeover including a Europipe exhaust and PSS10 setup. I couldnt bring myself to modify an all orginal 993 but for some reason it seems ok on a 996TT. According to Kevin - much easier to mod the 996 and get close to 550hp to the wheels. I wish I could keep them both but I am officially over my car quota at home. I have a 930 Turbo and every 30 seconds or so I think about selling it and keeping the 993TT.

Seats from blackie - I'm way past worrying about originality. And I think the new owner of the turboR would have shot me if I'd sold the wheels before the car.

That's because it has great looking wheels on in, Bob. Glad you're enjoying it; you're certainly keeping it looking very nice.

I would have loved to find one with Sport Seats and RUF wheels.

I specifically bought my 996TT BECAUSE it had sport seats. I would love a 993TT again some day.

DFW, You have your stock wheels? Maybe we could trade

DAMN For pure personal reasons.

That is one great 993. What are the specs of your 996?

What part of DFW area you in. I might be moving that direction.
