I am lucky to be able to spend a few weeks in Aspen each summer. I thought I would share a few pics - sorry for the iPhone quality.
First is the rig getting from TX to CO. This is just before we go up and over Independence Pass. Second is the end of my favorite road, Castle Creek. Third is self explanatory.

That GL pulls like a champ. TT diesel 6. We got about 16 mpg @75 mph on the trip. With a 5000 lb trailer, roof box, bike, 5 people, 2 small dogs and gear for a month - that isn't too bad!

The wife was interested in the GL as well, and considering how much i despise the RX450h we have, I wish I could've talked her into it!
