Default I love Colorado in the Summer - with RUF Pics

I am lucky to be able to spend a few weeks in Aspen each summer. I thought I would share a few pics - sorry for the iPhone quality.

First is the rig getting from TX to CO. This is just before we go up and over Independence Pass. Second is the end of my favorite road, Castle Creek. Third is self explanatory.

Very nice Patrick, love the photos.

I'm up in the mountains myself, fly fishing and horse back riding.

Very nice, Patrick. My best friend lives in Glenwood Springs. I love visiting western Colorado. I need to get one of my Porsche out there some day for a drive.

That GL pulls like a champ. TT diesel 6. We got about 16 mpg @75 mph on the trip. With a 5000 lb trailer, roof box, bike, 5 people, 2 small dogs and gear for a month - that isn't too bad!

Nice pics, Patrick! Guards Red really stands out against that backdrop.

The wife was interested in the GL as well, and considering how much i despise the RX450h we have, I wish I could've talked her into it!

What kind of mileage do you get in that regularly?

Scott, normal in town driving we see high teens or 20 mpg. Highway at 80 mph we routinely see 25+ mpg.

Our former Escalade got about half of that on a good day.

We like it a lot.
