New DD incoming
Well, for those of you following along at home, I last posted my thoughts around what to buy for a DD that's a Pcar. I decided from a cost stand point, reliability, availability, etc to settle on a 996TT.
I found a nice Carrera White / Black 996TT in CA that is inbound to me over the next few weeks. Here's what it's got:
2003 MY, 30k miles
Carrera White / Black
Sport Seats with painted backs
Factory painted body colored wheels (not for everyone, but I love that look)
Bilstein PSS9s
Aluminum instrument dials, shifter and brake
New clutch, and all service records.
When I get it I will take some pics. Gotta get some snows and have blast this winter

Congrats, can't wait to see pictures, I'm not sure that I've ever seen a 996 with factory painted wheels. I was actually looking at 996's before I got my 993 and I share your sentiment that the 996 turbo is the ultimate daily driver.

scott the 996tt in white is gorgeous car --- you're a lucky guy to have found one with a black interior and with only 30k miles. the car is practically new. a lot of guys on this board like to dis the 996tt but they don't know what they're missing ......... easily the best bang for your buck in the porsche world. in 5 years their value will start to inch up because of how easy you can extract more power from their engine and ecu.
