Slave Cylinder Replacement
I have read the DIY and ordered both the Slave and Accumulator from Sunset for 993TTish cost of $750. Will be attempting this at home this weekend. Wanted to know if there was a list of needed tools for this as I didn't see one in the DIY.
Looks as straight forward as a removal and replacement of a hidden, out of the way component can be.
My dad and I will be doing this together so I will be able to add all of the things that he will say I did wrong to the DIY.
Guinness give me the strength.

You might want some xenadrine to slim down to get your arms up there.
You're looking at standard 993 tools such as the 13mm sockets, swivels, ratchets, ratcheting wrenches etc.
Make sure to take the pressure out of the system by pumping the snot out of the pedal with the engine off before you pull accumulator.
I'm actually gonna be in the philly area this weekend...small world.

Get a 13mm Snap-On offset ratcheting box wrench.
Also get a 1/4" drive 13mm swivel-head socket and some decent extensions and u-joints.
Use a turkey baster to drain the Pentosin from both reservoirs before you begin - otherwise you'll be drinking it. Besides, you don't want to reuse your 15-year-old fluid in new components.
Dab of silicone on the end of the actuating rod.

I have just had it replaced by a Porsche Dealer. 230 ZE (Time Units) is the official replacement time at official Porsche shops. So as stated above a little over 2 hours. So not bad but the part itself is expensive!
