A friend bought one from a collector in Vegas so we flew there and drove it back to the SF Bay Area. It was a blast. We raced an E55 over the Pacheco Pass and made a good showing.

This is a real classic built by Porsche for MB before the advent of AMG

Love it and have always admired those cars. I do think the wheels are too modern for that car. Or maybe just too big?

Congrats.

I'm on the fence re the wheels. However, for whatever reason, the do look better in person. But on the hunt for 19" AMG Monoblocks...

Go with the AMG shoes for sure.

Looks fantastic...mileage?

If you don't mind me asking...what price range does this car fall into?

Beautiful example...

I've always loved those 500E's. I find mercedes design from 80's-ealry 90's to be quite timeless. Excellent choice. Drive it every day, mileage just doesn't seem to matter with mercedes or porsches they'll last forever.

has 68k miles on it. 2nd owner was OCD with regards to maintenance and upkeep. Feel lucky owning this one.

paid well into the 20s, but got 3 boxes of spare parts and accessories (many hard to find i think)

What a great car. These fenders... Ahh beautiful . One of my favorite car ever. I want to put E60 AMG W124 into my garage in near future. These wheels look well and clean with this car, very classic. Post more pics please

I hate you!! I have been on the lookout for a nice clean well maintained 500E for ay-ges! From the looks of it and the condition you got a great car..congrats. It would be tough paying over $25K for one as you are swimming into E55 W211 money. VERY VERY sweet car non the less. I like the wheels, but I do prefer Carlssons on that chassis (or Wald wheels).

Wow... I knew you were looking for one & it looks like you found a stunner... Please post more pictures.

OCD maintained E500E's are well worth the premium they command.

Oh, if you decide to sell those wheels please let me know first. I'd like them for my coupe.

Congrats!

Awesome buy! If my commute was much shorter, I'd be all over the 500E!!
