Awesome - she is a beaut!

Was just wondering when you were going to bring her home. Once you get the wheels on will look much meaner. Are you lowering? PO on mine installed #1 pads all the way around - perfect height and stance.

Congrats again!

Thanks. Do you know what exactly is involved in lowering these cars? New springs only?

You can just start w/ lower spring pads (can be ordered from dealer, relatively cheap still i believe). i think they range from #1 to #4, with #1 being the lowest. PO on mine just swapped out the #3 pads and put #1 pads all the way around. With my 19s, looks perfect (ie, not slammed just a nice lower stance).

Lowering springs are another option, but obviously cost more and have more impact on ride/handling.

Thanks for all of the suggestions - #1 spring pads installed all around, 18" monoblocks, Bridgestone Potenzas, alignment, polish and wax, and we're good to go. Handles like it's on rails.

Before Lorraine got the car, there was a lot of "I dunno, it's such an old man's car...." now I can't get her out from behind the wheel (or more to the point, the accelerator pedal...).
