Yup, that is sure a pretty garage. Funny thing, definitely different strokes for different folks, I prefer my man-cave that is stuffed with parts, tools and its dirty floors, this one definitely looks very surgically clean but I would be afraid to work there....and I swing a wrench quite a bit.

from what I have been told its a process that starts during the intial pouring of the concrete floor. Then different sanding and buffing wheels are used with 3000 grit material that gives it a shine similar to wax on vinyl or poly on food floors. Ive seen houses with polished concrete floors and at times they almost look like granite. Very cool process with fantastic results.

I put down interlocking tiles on the floor of my garage. If you damage one you just replace the tile. Plus, you can take them with you if you move. The only thing I don't like is they expand in the summer when it gets warmer.
