91 Octane (100% gas) vs. 93 Octane (10% ethanol)
I can find 100% gas in Wisconsin during my weekend drives, but it's only 91 octane. Given this choice, what would you use?
2 years ago, I could get 93 in 100% gas. I miss it.

Interesting question. I don't really have a choice. I get 93 octane, but I assume it is at least 10% ethanol. When I bring my car to CO, I get 91 octane.
Honestly, I don't notice the difference. But the variables of altitude, temperature, etc are so different in the two locations.

We did a poll on the Toronto thread and if I recall 85% use Shell 91, no corn syrup. We have Sunoco Gold 94 up here but it has up to 10% corn syrup which results in a filthy exhaust but runs fine.

Use the highest octane you can find. 10% ethanol (116 RON) will not hurt your car and you need the better fuel to get maximum performance from these cars.

I have been using a couple web sites to find ethanol free gas in the States I drive most. This one has been pretty helpful:
http://pure-gas.org/index.jsp?stateprov=IL
Make sure to call ahead to check for accuracy and availability.
On 91 octane, Pure Gas (no ethanol) the Turbo ran great. Did over 500 miles. Felt no difference in power, etc. Fuel mileage went up from about 17/18 MPG to 21/22 MPG. Same driving style, same roadways.
Then I found some 93 Pure Gas, harder to find, and the Turbo loves it even more. Same feel and power, and fuel mileage went up to 23/24.
I'll continue to buy this stuff when I can.
