1 Brand new 993K24 turbo as fitted to ROW Turbos S and 1998 GT2 both 450PS, all factory original supplied by porsche motorsport originally with porsche part numbers. Bought it this week as 1 of 3 and, I have kept the two used ones. Looking to get $1300 usd plus shipping. These sell for $2000 right now on ebay for non-porsche items and in the UK they are selling for £1300 + vat so its a bargain for a new factory turbo.

FYI the turbocharger that you listed is a "LEFT" side unit. It also has had the compressor housing replaced>> IE not in brand new form, put another way, the compressor housing has been removed and media blasted. All of the factory machined marks have been removed. Typically the compressor housing gets damaged in shipping.

 

The price is for 1 new left turbo from Porsche Motorsport. Kevin, perhaps you could post some pictures of a brand new K24 housing so we can see what you mean by original machined marks?

You can tell from the condition, the partnumber tag and the pictures its unused and new, at worst I could say re-manufactured by Borg and Warner, but either way its fresh and unused.

The price is for 1 turbo, plus shipping which the buyer can arrange or I can arrange. As I said, make me a reasonable offer and I won't refuse it. :-)

If anyone wants to give a view of what its worth, feel free but two used K24 turbos were sold only 2 weeks ago for $1500 usd.

Taj, I would recommend that you change the title to reconditioned turbocharger with new cartridge. I will post a picture of a brand new compressor housing. You will see the difference. The turbine housing has also been steel-shot blasted and painted.

For what it's worth, your price is fair. Provided that the center cartridge is not corroded. If you have rust inside the oil inlet of inside the bearing housing you will need to take it apart and boil the bearing housing and re-assemble.

mausone46, it varies... in the US you can get them for $1999 plus shipping. In the UK they are £1300, so hence my pricing at $1300, or for you 1050 euros which is a pretty good discount on current prices.

You've definately seen more turbos than me, so I take your point on the housings. This one is clearly from the factory, originally supplied to a race team and Borg and Warner must have remanufactured it so that still a pretty good situation. I also have an original GT2R exhaust header for sale which i will put up today if anyone's interested.

The oil inlet is squeaky clean (i can add a pic if anyone wants) and the turbines rotate cleanly and smoothly, a lovely action in fact.

In terms of price, pleased to hear they are in the right ball park. Not sure how i go back and change the title of the thread.
