Default Smoke from exhausts on start up

Have noticed a little smoke on start up, but when I drive off its ok.

It only happens after I leave the car for a week or two

Any suggestions?

if you had recent oil change, either wrong filters were installed or they were installed incorrectly....

I installed the check valves from Kevin (along with new turbos) and it solved the same issue as you're experiencing. Haven't had one problem in 8 months. You'll need to make sure you have the proper filter as well if you haven't already done so. Anyhow, I can attest they do as advertised.

98C4S, did you read this old post:

This will help you understand the 996TT oil check valves better.

Before you spend $$$$ on gear, try reducing your oil level below the half way mark on the dipstick.

Thanks for all the replies guys.

It only seems to happen on start up, and not all the time.

It has however had a recent oil change, and I did top up after! Maybe that's it!
