Default RUf CTR2 vs 993 Turbo S

If you could have only one, after your favorite everyday driving porsche and your museum piece porsche in the garage, which would you pick the 993 Turbo S or RUF CTR2?

As you are surely aware, the 993 TT "S" is primarily a cosmetic upgrade from the standard 993TT. They are rare, and with very low mileage and absolutely stock, they continue to appreciate in value. The Ruf CTR-2 is even more rare, and if bought right will probably never depreciate much, if at all. The CTR-2 is an amazingly fast car, capably of holding its own against the latest and greatest supercars in the world.

If you will never drive the car, and are interested in possible appreciation only, the 993TT "S" may be the ticket. If you want to drive the car and be among the fastest, most capable cars on the planet, the CTR-2 is the way better choice.

^^ 1980's? That was a CTR (Yellowbird). OP is asking about a CTR2 - 993 based car. Or am I missing something?

A regular 993tt would be a far better buy, and fit all of your criteria.

Agreed, if you plan to drive the CTR2 it would be best to be near a Ruf specialist.

Ruf. You can call me biased.

I test drove a 993TTs extensively. It was nice, but did not knock my socks off. Now Ruf.......
