Default RS sway bar settings

those of you with RS bars (and ideally PSS9/10's), how do you have the bars adjusted?

Scott & Dave

Are you using the RS drop links with your rear RS sway bars at full stiff?

Would like to see a picture of that set up with wheels on the ground if possible.

thanks

Scott - I understand. just looking for a starting point - after that, I'll exercise my god-given right to adjust myself out of competitiveness

Hah! How funny and true.
When I first got Frank, he was set up for more understeer. As I did more DE's and became more comfortable, we set him up to try and eliminate as much push as possible.
El Guapo is set up the same way as Frank was at the end. I believe the droplinks I use are RS.
Do you mean that you want to see a picture of the swaybar/droplinks with the car on the ground?
I might could take a pic of the back, but not the front, unless I put the camera on a timer and tossed it under the front end!

bingo!

now let's start a discussion regarding;
what you do to increase understeer assuming bars are set at middle / middle
and
what you do to increase oversteer assuming bars are set at middle / middle

let's use DE / TT type events as a starting point, not AX with it's more dynamic transients.

Please discuss, always willing to learn from others experience.

thanks

Craig

!
i'd like to see it too, there seems to be some variability between cars for toelink / droplink / ARB fitment.

Yes, I'd like to know before i purchase a set of RS ARBs.

thanks

Agreed, that is the conventional wisdom.
I'm trying to discover a bit more technical info regarding why these changes affect grip.

OK the simple version:
If the anti roll bar is set soft or even disconnected, that end of the car will roll more to the outside of a corner. This transfers more weight to that outside tire, which in turn increases the grip to that contact patch.
