There have been two owners. I purchased the car in 2005 with 15,000 miles on the odometer and have owned it ever since. Total mileage is currently 24,414. It isn't my daily driver, although it behaves impecably. When not being driven it is stored on a lift in my garage. The car has been lovingly cared for by Redbone Garage, one of the premier Porsche garages in Orlando. They can attest to its fit, finish and maintenance.

The car was hit from behiond in 2000. I was not the owner at the time of the collision. When I purchased the car I had Redbone perform a complete analysis of the car to determine its condition. Their opinion was that there was no mesurable or visible impact (no punn intended) of the repair . . . which is to say body gaps, suspension travel, alignment, torsional rigidity, etc.

I have had the car for 5 years and it is nothing but a pleasure. It remains the fastest and best handling road car I have ever owned. It is substantially more fun to drive, and faster, than the 996 Turbo.

Value is in the eye of the beholder. The S market has ramained strong and recent transactions have ranged between $125M and $150M, depending on mileage and condition.

Sadly, my history is not perfect, as it was rear ended in 2000 (I was not the owner at the time), so this car can no longer compete, in terms of value, with other low mileage 993 Turbo S vehicles.

That said, it is a nearly perfect condition Turbo S and, at least for me, remains very much more desirable than a standard 993 Turbo (great though they are). Remember, upgraded engine, extra oil cooler, much bigger breaks and cooling ducts, lower suspension, improved cooling through rear wing, full leather (literally everything inside - even the buttons) . . . and only 182 in the world! The original purchase price, in 1997, was $185,000.

Bottomline, it is an amazing and rare machine! My expectation . . . high 90s. Only time and interest will tell. I may be wrong.

More information please ... does the car have a salvage title?

Any photos or records of the repair?

I had the car thoroughly inspected from top to bottom by Redbone Garage (best Porsche garage in Orlando - they have cared for the car ever since) and was told it was in perfect order. As I bought it to enjoy, not to look at, I was not concerned by the indicent in 2000, so long as the mechanicals were in perfect working order and there was not measurable evidence of negative impact (forgive the punn).

Can't seem to upload the car fax - even zipped, it exceeds the 145KB limit. Any suggestions?
