Stripped intercooler bolt...(pita)

Another problem area is the same type of bolt used to secure the turbocharger sump. You can only access thru the drain hole at the bottom. One of mine decided to go "round" and now I can't remove it. Only way now is to fracture the sump, remove pieces to grasp it with vice grips....

You should be able to drill this one out as well. Those in-sump bolts do suck to get out. I usually crack them loose with the turbo still on the car. I have a Mac long allen driver (not ball type, hate those) cut down to just enough length to reach the sump bolt. Even with this, they are still a bugger to get loose.
