Default Photoshop help with wheels on my TT

Wondering if anyone can help me with what a black powder coat turbo twist would look like on my white TT. I have a spare set of chrome wheels that I bought but two of them had flaking chrome. Thinking about getting them powder coated black. Would appreciate some help.

Here is the best picture I have for now. Also open to other black wheel suggestions for my TT.

black is good. I did see white on white recently and liked the look.

I would go with gunmetal or dark grey rather than black for a white car.

Also, if your wheels are already chromed, you will need to remove the chrome first before having them powdercoated; and possibly that the chroming and de-chroming process will have weakend the wheels, esp if they are Technology wheels rather than the solid spokes. A good chrome job should never have flaking problems...the fact that two of your wheels do raises the question of the quality of the original job and any structural damage that may have occurred during the process.

IMHO you're probably better off just selling the chrome wheels and starting from scratch. Just my $0.02...I used to have chrome Technology wheels and got rid of them as soon as I could, esp once I saw the pics of damaged wheels posted.

Black doe's look very cool IMO. Dare to be different as long as they are matt.

I built a set of Daytona Speedline wheels for a 951 that was white also. The centers were painted a very dark heavy metallic Audi color and with the high polish outer lip the wheels looked great and were the finishing touch on this nice car. Just a thought..... Great thing about 3 piece wheels is they can be sized to fit the car. Jim jdorociak@gmail.com

Gunmetal with silver rims.....black is way too stark on a white car.

Thanks. Not a bad job, considering my terrible pic. I do agree with a few others who have commented that the black may be a little stark for the white. Gotta think about this.....
