Has it had any paint/body work? How many owners? Assuming it has had no accidents and nothing other than the front bumper resprayed I would suggest listing it at $59k and then you can negotiate a little. This is a really nice looking car. I love the interior btw. - Glenn

Two very recent ebay sales were at $49,999 for your exact car minus the red interior which will be a little polarizing to buyers. It looks like 50K is where they have dropped to with 40-60K miles, on ebay at least.

I'd agree with $50K. I was just offered a car this week that just turned 30,000 miles with good colors and options for $55K...

Porsche of Colorado Springs have a '97 Twin Turbo with 30,000 miles and they want $75K for it. Silver car with black interior owned by a Physician. Car is nice but a little rash the size of a napkin on the lower front bumper where it may have brushed a curb. I am sure they will take $65K for it...not sure how much less, they have had it for 2 weeks and it is parked outside and filthy.

Greg, IIRC you purchased the car about 2 years ago in the high $50's (trade was involved). Put a few grand into good & smart upgrades. I think you will be able to sell the car for low-low $50's.

Thanks No H20. Divorce continues...ugly now. She had no intention to reconcile so I wasted about 4+ months on that end. I now need to get a car that I can safely transport my 6 and 2 year old boys so one of the air-cooled turbo Porsches has to go at this time. I want to keep my S2 given that there are not many of those around (maybe 15?). I may trade locally and am prepared to take a bit of a bath on the car unless someone is willing to cut me a check very soon for say $52k.

Talking about 993tt valuations. There is 97 silver/red @ thechicagotoystore. 29k miles. Looks like well priced at $72,000. Its been in and out of Ebay for some time. Anyone know this car - if anything wrong with it, other than what seems to be cosmetic issues (engine bay paint/intercooler, driver side carpet worn out, big reds/calipers corrosion).

Proceed with caution regarding The Chicago Toy Store. They are a pretty slimmy bunch. Research them here on Rennlist. I have seen 2 or 3 Turbos there and passed on all of them.
